The final one

I would say that my blog expierence helped me to take position about some subjects that I used to thought but not to talked. It helped me to turn my thoughts into words, especially, in English. It's a really important fact to grow as a person and being sure about what and how you're saying some things. I'm afraid that I feel that I haven't developed my writing, but also think that this kind of blogs really help us to talk about some subjects that are happening now, so you can listen and read all kind of opinion that makes our arguments stronger. You're constantly learning. So blogs made easy for us to know ourselves and others. In the future I would add a section where we can write about anything we wanted to, where we all write about totallt different subjets. Also, as a recommendation, teacher should give us feedbacks about the final result of our blogs so in the next blog we shouldn´t make the same mistakes. Finally, I would like to add that Jordan made l...

Challenges in future Chilean education

I would say that the challenges in future about chilean education are changing focus about how history is teached at schools, they have to talk about more woman heroes but not in a forced way, where they can show woman contributions. The vocabulary and their expressions also have to change because kids can’t say “You run like a girl” if they want to say that someone runs slowly. This can change the way they feel about doing some kind of thing.  Kids have to feel free to do whatever they want to, if boys want to dance or girls wants to play soccer they shouldn’t feel afraid to do it because of bully that today exists. This year revolution of feminism opened so many eyes to realized that there’s so many things that we learned since children that makes us violent persons, so is a big opportunity to educate the new generation at schools, because still exist families who are very conservatives in the way they see how the family works; woman at the kitchen, man at work, girl pl...

Documentary

This semester is totally focus on research because this year we are working at documentary. Obviously research is a important fact at the career. You have to know what are you talking about. But at the moment I'm working at five research and it's way too much because there's so many things you have to look for, so many people you have to talk with and sometimes you depend on them and suddenly they disappear or don't answer again.  I didn´t knew anything about documentary when this year began and thought it was boring and easy. I've realized that this genre gives you more freedom than fiction and I found interesting the way we constantly are discovering different things and working with the reality gives another value at the movie. Also I've learned that the different between a documentary and a fictional film aren't so large because at documentary you can have material that talks about a kind of reality at the time you're editing, depending on the...

Emma Watson

Imagen
Emma Watson is a 28 years old english actress, model and activist. She is well known as Hermione Granger from Harry Potter, started her career at 9 years old. Because of her experiences working at movies she started to realized the sexism like recive less money that her man friends for the same job, not taking seriously or being sexualized since childhood. So she started to fight against that, using her big fama because of Harry Potter saga, so people of all ages could join her. She is a ONU Woman ambassador and started the #HeforShe campaign where she want to involve man against sexism because is a fight that everybody should join. I really admire Watson because of their abilities at acting, modeling and a feminist activist because is a model to follow for all woman that we can be everything we can want to, because I feel that there's still people who thinks that you can't be 'beautiful' and intelligent at the same time, like only 'ugly' woman have abili...

Favorite movie

Imagen
I think that my favorite movie is Spirited Away from Hayao Miyazaki. The movie talks about a girl, Chihiro, who is in the middle of a house move with their parents and they suddently stopped at the front of a weird tunnel. When they cross it they find a huge unkwon and uninhabited town. So they started to walk into it they saw a large amount of food and Chihiro's parents ate from it, she was scared so she didn't. Any time now they became pigs. Now Chihiro have to try to turn humans their parents again by characters who help her or not in a world where everything can happen. I like this movie because it show so many differents characters and places that I could never imagine and a girl who is fighting against it just because she want to help their fathers. Down below there's a picture of a few characters who appeared in the movie and my favorite is non-face, the one who is black with a face like a mask because he cheat people by offering them gold for eating them so h...

An Interesting Picture

Imagen
I took this picture like two years ago, in December.  There was christmas time and a fortunately I was on vacation so I was in the backyard with my nephew enjoying the sunny summer day and I decided to take a selfie.  Thought it was funny they we appeared because is like he's growing up from me.  I put it on my whatsapp profile and a couple of persons told me it was cool.  The thing is that one day, very far away from that December day, I saw a really weird thing in the picture...  At the right side of the picture there's an unknown thing, like two little men with a cap that reminds me to Ku Klux Klan...  I asked all my family about it and no one could gave me solid answer. Then I asked my friends but the answers were the same.  Do you know what could be that thing??

Johnny violent Bravo

I used to watch television all day when I was a little girl and one of the cartoons that used to appeared was Johnny Bravo. Johnny Bravo is a big brawny guy with a blonde hair. He lives with his mom. He doesn't work. His goals to reach in life is to find a pretty young and skinny woman who wants to go out with him. He see women as an object by looking them, making comments about their bodies and bothering them to have their atention even when they said no. I used to saw it like normal situations and I think that the way it affected me was on the security that I could feel about my body because all of the girls that Jhonny wanted to hang out were beautiful, tall and with and incredible body, body that wasn't real because cartoons exaggerate. It's awesome that today we can talk about these themes because is very important to show up all kind of violence, in this case against woman. In this links there is a compilations of diferents situations with Johnny Bravo againts w...

Technology and violence

I think that the different type of technologies have a double standard in any debate because it depends of the point of view of the creator of the material. It could be positive to fight against violence because social medias, for example, can help to expose some situations that could be unknown for some people. I’m going to talk about the testimonies exposed in social medias about violence against women because I think in our days they’re very valuable to show up what’s happening. A friend told me that those testimonies, spoken or written, help him to realised the suffering that is to be a woman in this society. At the beginning the problem wasn’t exist for him or it was mínimum, because he never heared about something like that in their Friends or family but now that women show up their experiences in testimonies he realised that is a problem that exist now and could happen to his mom, his sister or girlfriend. I think that we all have to work together to fight against al...

My career

When I was a child I really wanted to be too many things like a vet and being with animals all day in fact my sister was going to have a farm, in her child dreams too, and I would take care of her animals when they were sick or something. Also I wanted to be a hairdresser and have a beauty salon where I could created the most beautiful and original hairstyles. Then, when I was in the school I really wanted to be a dentist but then I met some cool teachers at history and literature that opened my mind. At my last year at school I had no idea what I was going to study, I was terrified with the idea that if I’m going to study something I have to do that thing all my life and I thought that I were just too young to decided that. I was between being a lawyer, a teacher and movie student. But I wanted to decided after the results of PSU. My results were good, even more that I expected. So the moment of taking a choice came, and I thought that the most amusing opcion was study a...
